How it is fitted

Find the OBD-II socket. It is usually under the dashboard, near the steering wheel.

Push the tracker in until it sits firmly. No tools, and nothing in the car’s wiring is touched.

Scan the QR code on the card from the box with your phone.

Create your account and enter your car’s plate number and make. Start the engine, and your car appears on the map.

It takes about a minute. If you cannot find the socket, write to us with your car’s make, model and year.

Most cars made since about 2008 that have an OBD-II socket.

What it does not do

It cannot switch the engine off remotely.
It has no camera and records no sound.
It does not read the car’s fuel, mileage, engine warnings or battery. That is Car health, which is only on OBD Advanced.
It sits at the OBD-II socket, where someone who finds it can pull it out. If it is unplugged, you get an alert.

Will it fit my car?

It fits most cars made since about 2008 that have an OBD-II socket, usually under the dashboard near the steering wheel. Not sure? Write to us with your car’s make, model and year before you order.

What is the difference between OBD Basic and OBD Advanced?

OBD Advanced adds Car health: fuel level, real mileage, engine warnings and the battery, on cars that share these readings. OBD Basic shows where the car is and where it has been, and warns you.

Can I move it to another car?

Yes, at any time. Unplug it, plug it into the other car and change the car’s details in the app.
